Andrea Bocelli backs out of singing at Trump’s inauguration after receiving death threats | Daily Mail Online

McCarthyism has nothing on the tactics of today’s American progressive-Left. The Presidential Inauguration is symbolic of the peaceful transition of power under our Constitutional Republic. To sully the process with threats against the livelihood or even murder of an entertainer who agrees to participate is beneath and beyond loathsome.

It is also disturbing that there are some conservatives calling for the boycott of entertainers who decline to perform. Be aware that there may be threats and other pressures against these people to which you are not privy. The Right need not stoop to the despicable tactics of the Left. Arm yourself with the arguments, and when possible, choose compassion.

As much as we don’t like being lectured about politics and political correctness by Meryl Streep and her ilk, keep in mind that in this highly charged politicized environment, every action or passive gesture is interpreted as taking a stand by someone on one side of the aisle or the other. ~ Art/Right
